The Nine-to-Five Epidemic - Is working from home an effective solution to an ineffective system?

Posted by admin under Uncategorized

Most of America is stuck in the 9 to 5 rut.  Whether we love or hate our jobs, we have to deal with the same daily rituals of going to work and leaving work.  A quick look at this “epidemic” suggests that there might be hope to those who hate their job or are looking for a way out.

Nine to five? Is there a disease out there? No. This is not a physical disease. But it is a widespread occupational disease.

Let me break it down for you. You wake up in the morning, and you
drive to work. Of course you get caught up in the morning rush hour
traffic. When you finally get to work, you park your car and enter the
office. Now, this is a good day so you’re a little early.

On second thought, this is your bad day. You are late and you get
chastised by your boss - again. You silently scowl and you head to your
cubicle. You are WAY behind on all of your reports. They are all due
tomorrow.

Eight hours later, you leave the office and head home. You take your
laptop with you since you will be up late, finishing the reports for
tomorrow.

Wash, rinse, repeat. Day after day. This is the widespread disease of the nine-to-five epidemic.

Okay. Maybe it’s not so much of an epidemic, but it can be filled with headache-inducing workdays.

Now why is this Nine-to-Five thing such a problem? I’ll tell you
why. You go to work, doing a job that you probably like, and get paid
what the company thinks you are worth. Those who hate their job have
far worse symptoms.

What are these symptoms? Well, I already mentioned headaches. The
other common symptoms of the nine-to-five problem include irritability,
fatigue, anxiety, and muscle aches. Now this comes from my personal
experience. That, and doing the same thing every day.

Just think for a moment. Are you happy working where you are right
now? That’s real good if you are. If you’re not, let me suggest a
remedy that might help you.

The Remedy

What then, is the remedy to the nine-to-five problem? The remedy is starting a home-based business.

Working from home has numerous benefits that your typical job
doesn’t have. You can set the hours and be your own boss. There is no
dress code when you’re working in the living room or den at your
computer. The freedom is yours to do what ever you want with that
business.

However, if you do work from home, you may find that you probably
don’t have anything that you can make and sell. That is not a problem.
Don’t worry.

You see, there are numerous online businesses out there and there
are many ways that you can market your product, or that business’s
product. The sky is the limit when you go online and discover all the
great opportunities out there.

The problem is that there are many scams out there. This discourages
many people from trying an online business. There are ponzi schemes,
pyramid schemes, and numerous other junk out there.

There is, however, a handful of businesses out there that you can
trust. They are not scams and they want to invest in you to make you
successful. Some of these businesses have great training programs that
offer mentoring and other resources. These are the types of businesses
that you want to look for.

What will you do now?

There’s the remedy to the nine-to-five work problem. Just work from
home and find a legitimate business to invest your time with. Or, stay
at your job if you’re happy and comfortable with what you’re doing.

Now that you know the remedy , what are you going to do about it?
It’s really up to you. Wouldn’t you rather get paid what you believe
you are worth? Your solution is just a click away.
